How's About a Little T&A???

Tits and Ass. I really like having them. When I follow a regimented work-out program, I get nice, flat, toned abs. Very nice. I like that. But my bootay and boobays disappear.

Lots of people have that issue.

I'm not being so regimented right now...although I'm at least doing *something*. So I'm not fat (c'mon with the name calling...I know who you are..bring on the SB...but wait..it's not true...)...but my belly is not flat. You can't see def. I'm in fact slightly pudgy in the abs right now (how ya like me now?). I got a little muffin top. Just a little one, well, depending on how tight my pants are. A Mini-Muffin Top. If I slouch a certain way, which I am apt to do, I look a little pregnant. But I'm not.

The abs aren't horrible. Well, really, there are no abs. Just belly fat. I've seen worse, but it's nothing I'd show off right now. Heck no. Not bikini worthy at the moment.

HOWEVA...I've got a nice tushy and pretty good boobies right now. A "figure", if you will. I like that.

So which do I want? What will I sacrifice?

I think it's going to come down to it being more than just how I look. How do I feel? It's going to come down to that. Am I healthy?

So, how do I feel? I could feel better. I'm relying on caffeine and other nifty beverages just a tad too much. When I am at my best, fitness-wise, I don't need that stuff at all. I think I feel better without my tits and ass. I'm just a little too tired and I don't quite have all the confidence I could possibly have. I've been way worse than this, but if I have to choose...the tits and ass are going to have to go on vacation for a while.

Damn it. I see work involved here.

It Finally Has Hit The Fan

Well, yesterday when I got home after work, I encountered a series of catastrophes.

I planned on doing my cardio workout right after work since I could not do it in the morning. But the minute I walked in the house, I smelled shit. Hubby was outside when I got home, and he came in with me, and asked, "WHAT IS THAT SMELL??". Dog shit? Cat shit? Shit on the dog from her rolling in random duck or deer shit? And I mean, the ENTIRE house REEKED in epic proportions. It was like someone died and was buried under the house (I would imagine). If I had been pregnant, I would have immediately hurled. I was gagging pretty badly as it was. It was a horrible, indescribable smell.

A short inspection through the house led us to her dog cage, where she had explosive diarrhea all over the cage. Oh. My. God. Disgusting. So the next hour or so was spent cleaning her and the cage and the carpet up. Just what I wanted to do right after work. No, I didn't want to play with my son or get my workout out of the way. I wanted to clean dog shit up. And runny gross shit, too. I really want to get rid of the dog now b/c she is nothing but a pain in the ass. We just don't give her the attention she deserves, and I don't want to deal with her, frankly. Never thought I'd say that, but a baby changes everything.

Lesson of the day: Don't feed your dog the leftover bone from your t-bone steak. I think that's what made her sick. I found a huge chunk of the bone within the shit. I also gave her a little bit of my enchilada, and there were a bunch of olives in the shit, too. So one of the two, or a combo of the two, since she will eat as much people food as you give her, was the culprit.

We had been doing so good not giving her people food. But then after baby, we started feeling guilty for not giving her as much attention, so I think we started giving her scraps b/c subconsciously that made us feel better. Or maybe consciously. Whatever. No more though.

At least she went in her cage. Only a little bit of it, relatively speaking, got on the carpet. I'm actually surprised she picked her cage, since dogs don't usually do that - they don't choose to poop in their "haven" (and the cage was open so she had free reign of the house).

Oh, and then after all that, the baby had a massive out of diaper poop experience that I had to deal with by myself while Hubby was finishing off the dog doo mess. Not diarrhea, but all over the place poop.

And then the cat puked on the carpet, or rather, regurgitated her inhaled cat food. I went downstairs to get cleaning supplies, and by the time I got back upstairs, she had re-eaten half of it. Lovely.

Animal excrement - what I always wanted my life at home to be about after a hard day's work.

P.S. Oh, and I did get my cardio in in-between all the shit. Yay for me.

Vile Steak Fat

So, Matt and I love to eat out at nice restaurants when we vacation. We did not have good luck on our last vacation, the vacation I never did get around to writing about.

We will pay good money for good food. It is so disappointing when you order a $25 steak and it is not up to par. The steaks were supposed to be trimmed first. A little fat is okay, after all, this is cow meat we're talking about. But when it is MOSTLY fat, I draw the line.

The martinis at this particular restuarant were excellent though. After a couple, we took a picture of the steak fat on Matt's steak from his cell phone.

ENJOY!

YUMMY!!!!!!!

P.S.
I fianlly commented on some of your comments dating all the way back to 6/20! Heh...sorry for the delay. I didn't realize I was so behind!
